Nick Joyce is the Founder and Director of YieldWise Finance, providing strategic lending and advisory solutions across agribusiness, commercial business, equipment finance and property Australia-wide.
With over 25 years of experience across the agricultural and finance sectors, Nick combines practical farming roots with deep industry expertise. Raised in Kukerin and holding a Bachelor of Agribusiness from Curtin University, he has a career spanning the agribusiness value chain, including roles in Elders merchandise, research agronomy, crop varietal development and commercialisation, grain marketing, farm consultancy, and banking.
Nick spent close to seven years with Planfarm, advising farming businesses on financial strategy, business planning and grain marketing. He later joined the Commonwealth Bank as an Agribusiness Executive, managing a diverse portfolio of primary producers across Western Australia.
He works closely with farming families, commercial operators and regional businesses, partnering with their broader advisory teams, including accountants, consultants and legal advisors, to structure aligned, long-term funding outcomes.
His work spans complex refinance and acquisition transactions, debt restructuring, lender negotiations, and funding strategies that support expansion and intergenerational succession planning.

With a deep understanding of rural enterprises and lender expectations, he delivers clear, lender-ready finance strategies that support business growth, improve structure, and position clients for long-term success.

Cathy Kania leads client reporting and strategic analysis at YieldWise Finance, providing the financial insight that underpins high-quality lending and advisory outcomes.
Raised on her family’s multigenerational farm in Wandering, Western Australia, Cathy combines firsthand agricultural experience with strong academic credentials, holding degrees in Agricultural Science (Hons) and Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
With more than 16 years of experience in banking, including senior roles in credit and relationship management at the Commonwealth Bank, Cathy brings a rare blend of analytical expertise and practical rural insight.
Her strength lies in translating complex financial data into clear, commercially grounded strategies that support confident decision-making, business growth and long-term planning.
Cathy’s deep understanding of both agricultural systems and lender requirements makes her a key part of the YieldWise advisory model — ensuring every strategy is not only well structured, but grounded in real-world outcomes.
